Louis J. Celli Jr. is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer at Logos BZ, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned management and consultant firm serving the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal and federal contracting clients. Lou is an expert policy analyst and business strategist based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area who has worked in the veteran, military, small business, and international affairs space for the past two decades. A proven leader in and out of uniform with multifaceted experience and a diverse skill base, Mr. Celli is a highly respected thought leader on Capitol Hill, throughout the Administration and across party lines.
Mr. Celli has worked with, and for, a number of innovative companies, as well as serving as Executive Director for the largest veteran service organization in the country, The American Legion. Lou managed strategic operations for the Legion’s; National Security, Veterans Affairs, Legislative, Veterans Employment, Education, and Entrepreneurship programs out of their K street office in Washington, D.C., and was the principal spokesperson for more than two million members before; Congress, the White House, Department of Veterans Affairs, The Department of Defense, The State Department, The Department of Labor, and the Small Business Administration.
Mr. Celli testified regularly before congress and has assisted with legislative language on hundreds of bills, as well as several important pieces of legislation that have been signed into law. He has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NPR, and is frequently quoted in print and online media, and meets regularly with senior White House officials to discuss military, veteran, and national policy issues.
Following his 22 year career in the United States Army, Master Sergeant Celli spent 10 years training and helping veterans start and grow small businesses. As CEO of a Boston based nonprofit, Mr. Celli raised over a million dollars in philanthropic money, trained thousands of veterans and helped countless veteran-owned businesses as they worked to navigate the federal procurement process.
Louis is a graduate of Harvard University, a native of Boston Massachusetts, attended the Northeast Regional Police Institute and was a Sergeant in the Middlesex County Reserve Deputy Sheriff’s office before moving to Washington D.C.. Together with his wife Elise they have six adult children and one grandson named Jayden.
