Mitch is a passionate thought leader with over 20 years of federal, commercial and non-profit healthcare and organizational transformation experience. He in known for being an honest broker and trusted advisor to C-Suite level executives and their senior staff.
Mitch’s journey in healthcare and policy began as an aide to current U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer where he worked on Labor, Health and Human Services and Veterans related appropriations. In 2004, he attained his Masters in Government Administration from the joint Wharton School/Fels Center of Government program at the University of Pennsylvania.
Since graduating from PENN, Mitch has functioned as a management consultant and trusted advisor for the likes of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Advisory Board Co. and Booz Allen Hamilton. He is especially proud of his long-time support of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Mitch has been a thought leader and advisor on national Veterans programs to include the Veterans Homelessness Initiative, the New Models of Care Program, the Strategic Capital Investment Program, Electronic Health Record (EHR) modernization, and the federally mandated redevelopment plan for the Los Angeles VA Medical Center campus and currently advises the leadership within both the Veterans Benefits Administration and the VA Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction.
